Day 3 started off well with Scott claiming a place in the final of the 400 free where he went on to finish 10th in a time of 4.18.73. Not to be out done, Elinor Spencer made the final in the 50free finishing 9th and swam into the first reserve position for the 200 IM.  Cara Smith swam a PB to reach the 50 free final finishing 9th overall. However affirming himself as Stirling’s highest finisher of the meet so far Jamie Murray smashed his PB by 4 seconds to just miss out on a medal in the 200 back. Also making an appearance in the morning session was Ella Shilliday, Vincent and Rebecca Matthewson.

Furthermore the senior girls 4x100 free relay made of Rosie Stanger, Ella Shilliday, Elinor Spencer and Cara Smith did an excellent job with a good team moral and managing to lower their entry time by 3 seconds . This swim was so good they actually finished in 8th place, beating 3 teams in the fastest heat in the evening session.

In the afternoon session the momentum continued with Logan getting a massive 16 second PB 400m Free and Amy lowering her entry time by 6 second PB 200 IM!

The final session of the day involved some real team bonding with Bid coming up with a brilliant game which involved the team trying to keep a tennis ball up in the air by hitting it with cupped hands. Brad had confiscated all phones on poolside so the team came up with their own way to entertain themselves which led to even more support for the finalists!
