General Information

Stirling Swimming is governed by a constitution, bye-laws and regulations, or set of rules laying out how the club is run. Each year in September an Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held. The purpose of the AGM is:

  • To make any amendments to the constitution and/or bye-laws (providing the required voting majority is achieved).
  • To elect a Management Group to run the club in accordance with the constitution and bye-laws.
  • To set membership and training fees.

The Management Group comprises of six elected members and four other Adult members. The Head Coach, Immediate Past President and Stirling Council representative are non-voting members of the Management Group. The elected positions are:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Programming Convenor
  • Promotions Convenor

The Management Group meets monthly to run the club in accordance with the constitution and bye-laws, to develop plans and policies for the future running of the club and to co-ordinate club affairs.
